At the Seibukan Dojo, we specialize in self defense. Students are taught techniques that are practical, simple and effective for real situations with which they may be confronted.
Since 1991, our classes have consisted of a well rounded training program. However, our main objective is the perfection of oneself through both physical and mental development. As students learn the art of self defense, they acquire self confidence, serenity and the ability to concentrate.
Students at the Seibukan Dojo have a unique opportunity to study from instructors who have mastered both methods of the martial arts taught at the Seibukan Dojo. These martial arts are; Karate, the art of the Okinawans, which they used to defend themselves against Jujutsu, the art of the Samurai of Kyushu. The Okinawans as well as the Samurai of Kyushu, would never have believed that both these arts would someday come together in the spirit of brotherhood and be practiced in the same Dojo (school), as is the case at the Seibukan Dojo.
