If its application is for a good purpose, then the art is of great value;
but if it is misused, then there is no more evil or harmful art than the martial arts.

Powerful drugs are dangerous.
But there is no one in our medical world today that advocates shunning drugs.
Yet the misuse of drugs in today’s society is a tragedy.
The danger then, depends on its usage.
Those who would learn the martial arts must be made to understand its nature at the outset and be instructed in its proper use.
