Recent Promotions:
In November, 2023, The Sosuishiryu Jujutsu Kai’s West Coast Representative, Sensei Randy Cantonwine, (5th Degree Black Belt, and Kyoshi) from Washington State,
awarded his student Rodney Meadows with his promotion to 2nd Degree Black Belt in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu.
Congratulations Sensei Rodney, and now let’s get back to work

In November 2022, Sensei Robert Frietag, an original Sensei at the Seibukan Dojo visited, and participated in a Sosuishi-ryu Jujutsu Seminar, and taught an Isshinryu Karate class. It was great to have Sensei Frietag home, and back on the mat where he belongs. We look forward to his next visit.


In November 2022, Sensei Raul Jennings was promoted to ShoMokuroku (1st Degree Black Belt) in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. Sensei Raul is also NiDan, (2nd Degree Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate-Do. Congratulations Sensei Raul, and now we can all get back tor work

In September 2022, Ria Konar, Peyton Schaefer, and Emma Schaefer tested, and were promoted to Shomokuroku (1st degree Black belt) in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. These young ladies are also Black Belts in Isshinryu Karate, and some of the hardest working students in the dojo. Congratulations to Ria, Peyton and Emma for doing such a great job, and working so hard!
Now…we all get back to work.


In August 2022, Sensei Roberto Cambeiro was promoted to Sanmokuroku, (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. Sensei Cambeiro is also Godan, (5th Degree Black Belt) in Isshinryu Karate, and one of our Senior Instructors.
Great Job Sensei Roberto…now we all go back to work!






In July 2022, Sensei Rondy Angoy was awarded the teaching grade of Shihan-Dai by Sensei Manzo Shitama, the 16th Dai Menkyo of Sosuishiryu Jujutsu.
It was my personal honor to make this recommendation, and watching my brother Rondy Angoy grow into such a wonderful man…(on and off the mat), and into a very talented martial artist has been a source of great joy.
There are no success stories, or achievements in our dojo that he hasn’t been an integral part of.
CONGRATULATIONS Sensei Angoy…and now we get back to work!




In June 2022, Sensei Benny Burgos was promoted to ShoDan (1st Degree Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate-do. Benny is also Shomokuroku, (1st Degree Black Belt in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. Congratulations Sensei Benny!

In June 2022, Peyton, Sophia, and Emma were tested and promoted to ShoDan, (1st Degree Black Belt) in our Children’s Division. Congratulations, and job well done for our hardest working students!

In December Sensei Mario Giannini was promoted to Nimokuroku, (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. CONGRATULATIONS Sensei Mario!

In November, Alyssa Funke was tested and promoted to Shodan, (1st DegreeBlack Belt) in Isshinryu Karate in the Children’s Division after a physically challenging test. Alyssa is one of our most consistent, and hard working students. We are very proud of Alyysa! CONGRATULATIONS!!

In November, Anna Rose Samoleski was tested for Shomokuroku (1st Degree Black Belt) in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu in the Children’s Division. After a physically challenging test, Anna passed and was promoted, making her the FIRST Junior Black Belt from the Seibukan Dojo in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. Anna is also a Shodan (first Degree Black Belt, in Isshinryu Karate-Do. We are very proud of Anna! CONGRATULATIONS!

Recent Promotions
In October 2021, at the WUIKA annual Gasshuku Sensei Bill Williams tested before the WUIKA Board, and was promoted to Nanadan, (7th Degree Black Belt), and Kyoshi in Isshinryu Karate-Do. Promotions in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu
In October 2021, Sensei Manzo Shitama, 16th Headmaster of Sosuishiryu Jujutsu made the following promotions. Sensei Bill Williams to Rokumokuroku, (6th Degree Black Belt) and Shihan, Sensei Bill Kinkel to Rokumokuroku, (6th Degree Black Belt), and Sensei Rondy Angoy to Gomokuroku, (5th Degree Black Belt).

Promotions in Isshinryu-Karate-Do
In September of 2021, Sensei James Montgomery and Sensei Raul Jennings were both promoted to Nidan in Isshinryu Karate-Do. Great work from both of our most dedicated and hard working students!

Recent Promotions and testing in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu

Recent Promotions
In April Sensei David Persaud was promoted to NiDan in Isshinryu Karate-Do, and later to NiMokuroku in Sosuishiryu Jujutsu. Congratulations Sensei David!


In April 2021 the Seibukan Dojo celebrated its first junior Blackbelt promotion. Anna Rose Samoleski tested and was promoted to Junior Blackbelt (Shodan)) We are proud of her hard work, dedication, and most importantly the fine young lady she is on and off the mat!

Recent Promotions
In October 2019, at the WUIKA / Tokushinryu Gasshuku and Shiai, Sensei Robert Freitag was promoted to Shichidan (7th Degree Black Belt) in Isshinryu Karate-Do. Sensei Rondy Angoy and Roberto Cambeiro were both promoted to Godan (5th Degree Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate-Do. Congratulations to all of our Sensei!



On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Sensei Bill Kinkel, and Bill Williams were invited to introduce and teach Sosuishiryu Jujutsu at the 2019 World Isshinryu Karate Association WUIKA / Tokushinryu Gasshuku & Shiai. Assisting with the seminar was Sensei Robert Frietag, Rondy Angoy and Roberto Cambeiro. Thank you for the opportunity to share Sosuishiryu Jujutsu with so many dedicated and talented Martial Artists.
